Scholarship Opportunity
From the proceeds of the race, a $1,000 scholarship (increased from $500 in 2015) will be awarded to a Macon County high school senior planning to attend college in Fall 2016 and enter the healthcare field.
Applicants should apply through the Community Foundation of Macon County.
A winner will be announced at the Run2beatPD 5K on April 29, 2017.
To Be Eligible:
~ Attend a Macon County high school
~ High school senior
~ Accepted to/currently enrolled in college for the Fall
2017 semester
~ Healthcare major/focus
~ Complete short essay
